                Is an archipelago country located in Southeast Asia. Its geographic location is in the western Pacific Ocean. It faces Taiwan across the Luzon Strait in the north, across the Celebes Sea in the south and Indonesia, across the South China Sea in the west from Vietnam, and in the east on the Philippines Sea.

The total population of the Philippines

                The total population of the Philippines is about 110 million (July 2015). Malays account for more than 85% of the country's population, including Tagalog, Ilogo, Bangbaan, Visaya, and Bicol. Ethnic minorities and foreign descendants include Chinese, Arabs, and Indians. People, Spaniards and Americans; there are still a few indigenous peoples. There are more than 70 languages. The national language of the Philippines is Tagalog-based Filipino and English is the official language. About 85% of the nation believes in Catholicism. Christian Protestant believers account for 9% of the population. 5% believe in Islam. They are concentrated in the Mindanao region in the south. Chinese people often believe in Buddhism and the indigenous people believe in primitive religions.

Filipino staple food

                It is rice and corn. The farmers only cooked rice before cooking. The rice is cooked in a tile or bamboo tube and pilafed by hand. What the Filipinos like to eat most is to boil cassava in coconut milk and cook in coconut milk, and then use banana leaf to cook rice. Corn as a food, first dried, ground into powder, and then made into a variety of food. Most people in the upper middle class eat Western food.

A staple food for Filipino Muslims

                It is rice, sometimes corn and flour, served with vegetables and fruits. According to Islamic principles, they do not eat pork or drink spirits. Like other Malays, they like to eat fish and do not drink milk. Cooking is simple and I like to use irritating condiments. Grab when eating. The habit of chewing betel nuts is very popular among Muslims in the Philippines.
